Transguard group is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Specialist - 6 Months Contract Role for one of our Government client to be based out of their Dubai office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations within the warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, and products. 
• The Warehouse Specialist ensures that all warehouse activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Store materials and products in designated locations using appropriate methods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
• Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and optimize warehouse operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and operate warehouse equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment: Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and equipment.
