Records Assistant Careers in Tanganyika DC

The District Executive Director of the Tanganyika District Council has received the approval of the new job vacancies from the Secretary -General's Office of the President's Public Service Management and Good Governance through a letter. And. FA.97/228/01/A/25 dated 29.04.2025. Thus, he announces to all qualified citizens to apply for Records Assistant jobs.

Responsibilities 

  • Listing letters entering the Register (Incoming Correspondence Register); 
  • Listing letters out of the Institute (Outgoing CorresPondence Register); 
  • Distributing files to action officers;
  • Receiving files returning registry from executives; 
  • Searching for archives/documents/files required for executives; 
  • Return files to the Cabinet/Cabinet (Racks/Filling Cabinet) or elsewhere is stored; and 
  • Follow the frequency of files within the Institute (File Tracking). 

Qualifications:

  • Should be graduated in Form Four (IV) or Form Six (VI) and obtain a Form Four Exam certificate (IV) or Form Six (VI).
  • Must have graduated with Diploma/Diploma (NTA Level 6) in the field of archiving from state -recognized, skilled composers.
Salary: Based on Government Salary Levels TGS C.

General Terms for Applicants:

  1. Applicant should be a citizen of Tanzania and not less than 18 years and not less than 45 years; 
  2. The applicant should attach a copy of secondary education certificates, academics, NIDA card copy or NIDA number and a copy of the birth certificate. Applicants who will submit “Result Slip, Statement of Results, Provisional Results or Transcripts” will not be accepted. 
  3. Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should identify the disability system they have for information to the Public Service Secretariat; 
  4. All applicants should attach personal information (Detail Curriculum Vitae) with a used address, telephone numbers available and e-mail address and three reliable referee names; 
  5. Applicants studying abroad should make sure their certificates have been verified and certified by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA and NACTE); 
  6. Applicants refined in the public service are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Secretary -General; 
  7. Applicants who submit fake information will be taken in accordance with the laws of the country; 
  8. Applicants who meet the criteria will be called to the interview; ix. The deadline for application is 02.06.2025;
